Password Reset

To begin the process of retrieving your username and/or resetting your password, please provide the following information.

Tips and Tricks

1. When resetting your password or logging into our system, use your 7-digit SID# (without the W).

2. Make sure your UCSC email is active because an activation key is sent to you when you reset your password in our system.

3.If your campus email address is forwarding to an off-campus email, you will not be able to get the activation key. Temporarily stop forwarding which will resolve this problem. Go to https://www2.ucsc.edu/its/cgi-bin/chpobox to check if you are forwarding and to stop forwarding.
